I am the 2x Puerto Rico National Champion and 2x Caribbean Regional Champion. I have raced for the Puerto Rican National Team for the last 2 years and achieved a top 15 result at the Panamerican Championships.
This year I am focusing on getting results as a U23. I’ve been racing since I was 14 years old. I started mountain bike racing as a way to gain endurance for my competitive rock climbing. I trained for both sports for 2 years before being invited to be on the Puerto Rico National Mountain Bike Team, after which I focused just on mountain biking. I like the opportunity to work hard and represent the country of my ancestors, Puerto Rico, and a sport in which women of color are underrepresented.
My biggest motivation is to represent Puerto Rico at the Olympics. My proudest moment so far has been defending my National Championship title this year with some difficult competition. My favorite event is the Puerto Rico Tropical MTB Challenge because it’s a hard race with lots of climbing. Lining up at a race in the US and being the only Latina on the start line inspires me to “representar.”
A fun fact about me is that I rode a tandem across the state of Oklahoma for 7 days with my dad, starting in Texas and ending in Kansas. My favorite quote is “All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us” by J.R.R. Tolkien. My goals are to win National Championships as an elite, get in the top 10 at Panamericans, and do well in my first year of university. Before every race, I pray and imagine the race. My go-to pre-race meal is my everyday waffle breakfast with chai. I’d describe my racing style as attacking on the climbs. Racing has taught me that sometimes you can work hard and still fail.

I come from a family of cyclists and have been racing mountain bikes since I was 10 years old. I enjoy long road rides with my dad and mountain biking in new places. I also love to run, rock climb, and go to the gym during the off season. I’ve been biking for as long as I can remember, and my first race was a local mountain bike race in fifth grade. I really loved it and continued to cycle and race throughout middle and high school.
I love finally mastering a new skill on the mountain bike. I train and compete because I love pushing my body to its limit and discovering what I am capable of. Finishing the Hoot Trail Cal Dirt Series race in 2024 is one of my proudest moments. It was snowing, and more than half of my category DNFed. My favorite event is the Death Ride Tour of the California Alps because it’s such a pretty and hard ride.
My mom inspires me because she is always trying to improve and working towards her goals. A fun fact about me is that it’s my dream to be an ER doctor. My favorite quote is “Remember why you love it.” My goal is to get top 10 in one of the nationals races. Before every race, I wear my lucky socks, and my go-to pre-race fuel is cream of wheat oatmeal. I’d describe my racing style as all out. Racing has taught me that you have to love what you do—if it feels like a chore, you aren’t doing it right.

I have a passion for riding all kinds of bikes—whether it’s cross country, enduro, or gravel. I’m happiest when I’m out there racing! I started competing in NICA back in sixth grade, and my goal is to turn my love of racing into a career. Every ride and race is a step toward that dream. I first got into cycling through Arkansas NICA, and I instantly fell in love with the sport.
What I love most about biking is the places it takes me and the opportunity to travel. I’m motivated to train and compete to better my fitness and keep improving personally. One of my biggest accomplishments so far was competing in Canada. My first year there, I was pulled after two laps and unconfidently rode the features. This past year, I raced the full four laps with full confidence and cleaned all the features, finishing 18th. My favorite trail is the Back 40—it’s a perfect 22-mile loop that’s great for endurance mountain bike days. It’s peaceful and really fun. I’m inspired by my own progress—the thrill of improving and pushing myself beyond what I thought was possible keeps me going and hungry for more.
A fun fact most people don’t know about me is that I used to be a competitive rock climber from ages 8 to 13. My favorite quote is “There is a way.” My goals for this year are to grow my skills, enjoy my senior year, and make more lifelong biking friends. Before every race, I wear the same black and silver star guide necklace. My go-to pre-race meal is rice with blueberries. I’d describe my racing style as pushing limits and staying in the moment. Racing has taught me that one day will never define you.

I’m from Bozeman, Montana, and this is my first year on Donovan Racing. I’m a sophomore at Colorado Mesa University studying fire science, and I love all things outdoors—especially riding and racing bikes. I learned to ride a bike at just two years old, and my passion for cycling has only grown since. I began racing in 6th grade through the Montana NICA league, competing in cross-country before transitioning to enduro for two seasons. After gaining valuable experience in both disciplines, I shifted my full focus back to XC racing.
I’m now entering my second year in the U23 category and am excited to keep pushing my limits and chasing results. I love the adventures and places mountain bikes can take you and the adrenaline rush from pushing yourself to be better each and every day. Pushing myself to become the best person and athlete I can keeps me going on a regular basis. The satisfaction of putting together a good race after a long training block makes each and every training ride feel well worth it. One of my proudest moments so far was finishing 17th in my first-ever Elite XCO in Soldier Hollow, Utah.
My favorite race event is the Canmore Canada Cup because I absolutely love its technical and demanding course—it always separates the men from the boys. My mom inspires me to always be my best self no matter what. She is very driven and consistently reminds me why I do what I do. She gives others purpose and shows kindness always.
A fun fact about me is that I ski raced for 8 years before switching my focus to mountain bike racing. My favorite quote is “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.” Before each race warm-up, I listen to Hells Bells by AC/DC and always say a prayer on the start line. My go-to pre-race meal is a Kodiak pancake bowl. I’d describe my racing style as smooth, swift, and efficient. Racing has taught me that the more you put into yourself, the more success you will find.

I’m an athlete who loves the freedom and adventure that comes with riding bikes. Cycling pushes me to challenge myself, stay active, and explore new places. I enjoy meeting new people along the way and connecting through a shared passion for the sport. Every ride is a chance to grow, learn, and have fun outdoors. My parents introduced me to cycling at an early age, and I instantly fell in love with it. Ever since then, riding my bike has been one of my favorite ways to stay active and have fun.
I love cyclocross for its mix of mud, snow, and dust—every surface brings a new challenge and keeps you on your toes. No two races ever feel the same, and that unpredictability makes it exciting. Mountain biking adds another level of fun with its technical trails, fast descents, and the constant balance between control and speed. I’m motivated by my competitive drive and the satisfaction of working toward clear goals. Having a race on the calendar keeps me focused and disciplined, and I enjoy the challenge of pushing my limits and seeing steady progress through training.
My proudest moment so far would have to be winning my national championship in cyclocross. That race was the result of years of hard work and dedication. I’ve also been ranked in the top 20 in America for the last nine years and earned around 20 national podiums, which I’m really proud of—it shows the consistency and passion I bring to the sport. My favorite trail is the Beauty Spot Trail in Colorado. It’s challenging and technical, but the views make every climb and descent completely worth it. I’m inspired by Mathieu van der Poel because of the way he handles a bike. His finesse, control, and ability to push the limits in any discipline are incredible. I admire how he combines power and precision while always making it look effortless.
A fun fact about me is that I’m very interested in aviation and am currently pursuing my private pilot’s license. My favorite quote is, “Life will knock you down, but anything worth doing must be done with effort, and true character is revealed in how you get back up.” My goals this season are to break into the top 10 in the U.S. U23 rankings and have the opportunity to race in at least one World Cup on home soil. Before races, I keep a small wristband on my bike from the 2024 MTB Nationals—it reminds me how well I did at that race and reminds me that I always belong. My go-to pre-race meal is pancakes. I’d describe my racing style as aggressive, powerful, and calculated. Racing has taught me that no matter how impossible a challenge seems, or how far ahead someone appears, hard work and determination can help you catch up and succeed.

I’m Luke Ozment, a 17-year-old cyclist from Golden, Colorado. I primarily race mountain biking and cyclocross, but next year I plan to compete in the U23 Lifetime Grand Prix and UCI cross-country races. I love riding and racing my bike, enjoying the sport, and embracing the process it takes to become the best version of myself.
This year, I’ve seen real progress—not only in my fitness and race results, but also in how I’ve grown as a person. I first started riding a bike as soon as I could walk, and I did my first race when I was 8. I really started to enjoy riding and training when COVID hit; that time helped me find a true love for the sport. I love riding in new places, especially in the high alpine mountains. Mountain biking in the mountains and woods, whether by myself or with friends, is very relaxing and so much fun. I love riding and enjoying the process, which makes training easy. I also love competing and seeing my hard work pay off.
My proudest moment so far has been winning Marathon Mountain Bike National Championships. My favorite trail is the Colorado Trail because it winds through the high alpine of the Colorado Rockies—it’s a super fun and beautiful ride. I’m inspired by Bjorn Riley and Nino Schurter. A fun fact about me is that I used to ski race competitively and finished 6th at Ski Cross Nationals. My favorite quote is “Enjoy what you do.” My goals for next year are to race the U23 Lifetime Grand Prix, achieve strong results, and continue improving in all areas.
Before races, I stick to doing my routine the same way every time. The night before, I love having pasta for dinner, and my go-to snack is dried mango. I’d describe my racing style as tactical, smart, and aggressive. Racing has taught me a lot about patience, trusting the process, and being resilient with training—it’s also taught me about other cultures around the world.

I started cycling as a freshman B NICA racer with one goal—to work as hard as possible and take the sport as far as I can. In the last few years, I’ve learned so much about myself as both a person and an athlete, and I’ve made some incredible connections, not the least of which have been my amazing teammates, coaches, and staff on Donovan Racing. I can’t wait to continue pushing my limits in training and racing alongside such an amazing support crew. I first got into mountain biking at the end of eighth grade after falling out of love with competitive soccer. I was smaller than my peers, and my talent alone wasn’t cutting it anymore. During that time, my dad took me mountain biking for the first time, and I instantly fell in love. Later that year, I discovered mountain bike racing, and with no particular talent to speak of, I started from square one. What began as riding up and down my local sledding hill that winter transformed into structured training and eventually led to my first UCI race last year. Having started later than most, it’s been an uphill battle since then—and I’ve loved every moment of it.
I love the nitty-gritty training aspect of cycling. Physiologies are complex, and training is complicated, but I love those intricacies. I’m motivated by the pursuit of constant improvement and the challenge of refining every detail. One of my proudest moments was my weekend in Englewood last year. I’d lined up a great block of training and secured my best result after working through a mental block I’d been dealing with all season. My favorite event is the Pro Cup in Fayetteville—it was the first big race I went to as a 15/16 Cat 2. When it comes to inspiration, like Kanye said, “I inspired me.” It’s also pretty cool that pro cyclists like my Instagram reels. My favorite quote is, “The man who loves walking will walk further than the man who loves the destination.” My goal this season is to make my results more consistent.
Before races, I listen to some music, laugh a little, and make sure to smile on the start line. My go-to pre-race meal is a fat stack of pancakes, some fruit, and some rice. I’d describe my racing style as “just won’t quit.” Racing has taught me that good things come to those who wait—and work really hard.

My name is Ned Broersma. I’m a second-year U23 rider from Metuchen, New Jersey, and this will be my third year with Donovan Racing. My goal this season is to get to Europe to race some gnarly tracks and to race a World Cup. My long-term goal is to race with a factory team and give back to my parents all they have given to me.
My favorite thing about racing is getting into an absolute dog fight and suffering to the line. Seth’s Bike Hacks YouTube channel introduced me to mountain biking. I really love the suffering you can do in a race and out-suffering other riders. I want to be able to fight for race wins and use my brain a bit more while racing instead of just chasing as hard as I can. Getting onto a UCI podium as a junior was a huge confidence booster, and more recently my race in Baie Saint Paul — getting 13th in a C1 and earning my first UCI points as a first-year U23 — was a big moment.
My favorite event is the Baie Saint Paul XCO, especially because of its location and the sick track. The person who inspires me most is my mom because of how hard I see her working and the different things she’s tackling day in and day out. I designed and built the rug in my room and all of the plates and vases in it. My favorite quote is to just not quit, and no matter how hard the day is, if you just get through it, the rewards will speak for themselves.
My goals are to race a World Cup and become more efficient on the bike. Before every race, I make sure to get a good warm-up in and eat pancakes three hours before my race. My go-to pre-race fuel is pancakes with powdered sugar or Nutella. I’d describe my racing style as trying not to blow up. Racing has taught me that it’s not all about the first bit — it’s how you work through the race.

I’m just a huge bike enjoyer. I love mountain biking, gravel biking, and road biking. Being out in nature is my favorite thing, and cycling is the best way to experience it. I started racing in the Colorado High School MTB League during my freshman year of high school. Long high-country training days are my favorite part of the sport.
I love how real competition is, and I want to become a pro so I can get paid to do what I’d be doing anyway—riding my bike with my friends in awesome places. One of my proudest moments was becoming Colorado State Champion. I had been chasing that goal for four years and finally did it in my last opportunity, which made it an unforgettable memory. My favorite event is the Iron Horse Bicycle Classic in Durango because it’s my home race and I love the course and atmosphere. Chris Blevins is a huge inspiration to me.
A fun fact about me is that I’m in a long battle with learning to wheelie—I hope to get it soon! My favorite quote is “Stay in the moment.” My goal is to put together a phenomenal ride at Leadville 100. Before every race, I make sure my bike is clean, get plenty of calories in, and I’m ready to go. My go-to pre-race meal is pizza. I’d describe my racing style as constantly improving. Racing has taught me that being the strongest only matters if you can be smart too.

I’m a mountain biking and gravel athlete from Saint Paul, Minnesota, and this is my first year on the team. I’m a dedicated racing athlete with a deep passion and love for the sport. Known for my focus and determination, I continually push myself to reach new levels of performance on and off the track.
I approach every race as an opportunity to grow and learn, putting 100% into all areas of life to be the best possible athlete, teammate, and person. Racing isn’t just a sport for me — it’s a lifelong pursuit of excellence. I’ve been riding a bike before I even learned how to walk. With my wood scoot bike my dad made me, I would stride around the block for hours. My dad has been racing for about 20 years now, so when I came of age he brought me along to one of his races. I was 6 years old when I did my first local Thursday night race at Buck Hill, and ever since then my passion has continued to grow.
I love the feeling of freedom — flying through the woods with the wind on my face, the thrill of not knowing if I’m going to clear a jump or not, the adrenaline of a close call on a sketchy corner, the community around cycling, and all the cool, loving people I meet along the way. The sport pushes me to try and be the best possible version of myself. I find inspiration from others and from the feeling I get when I try my best and improve. Knowing I’m not the best makes me want to work harder to become even better than I thought I could be.
My proudest moment so far is winning the overall at the Wausau 24 — and doing no-handed wheelies. My favorite event is in Fayetteville, Arkansas because of the fast, techy, and short punchy hills that make the course flow really nicely. Bjorn Riley inspires me because he’s super fast and always shows his own unique style. He also loves art, which is something I’ve loved ever since I was a kid.
A fun fact about me is that my mom goodwilled all my first medals on accident — or that I can eat a whole hot dog in one bite. My favorite quote is “Everything is possible for one who believes.” — Mark 9:23. My goals are to get enough UCI points to go race in Europe, place top 25 at nationals, inspire someone to get more into the sport, and continue growing into the best possible version of me. Before every race, I take off my right sock right after I put it on and pray. My go-to pre-race fuel is chicken parmesan pasta. I’d describe my racing style as steezy. Racing has taught me that the way you perceive and talk to yourself matters.

I live in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and started racing MiSCA in 7th grade. I quickly climbed the ranks, sweeping the Junior Varsity series as a freshman and winning back-to-back Varsity State Championships as a sophomore and junior.
I started racing nationally in 2023, adding gravel, crit, and cyclocross wins to my resume. In 2024, I won the 15–16 age group national titles in gravel and marathon mountain biking, and in 2025, I became the Junior Women’s Champion in the U.S. XC Open Series. My parents grew up cycling in California and took me on mountain bike rides since I was a toddler in a trailer. During the pandemic, I joined a new local mountain bike team, and I’ve been racing ever since.
I love adrenaline and the thrill of going fast. I’m motivated by being a trailblazer for Midwestern riders to compete at a national level. My proudest moment so far was winning the 2024 Marathon National Championship in the 15–16 category—it was the toughest race I had done up to that point. My favorite place to ride is Pisgah, North Carolina, because of the technical, rocky terrain. Mikaela Shiffrin inspires me because she’s the G.O.A.T. of downhill ski racing and an amazing person.
A fun fact about me is that I met Danny MacAskill in his hometown in Scotland a couple years ago. My favorite quote is “Train like you’ve never won, race like you’ve never lost.” Before races, I usually wear a necklace—my favorite is a gold chain that belonged to my grandma—and sometimes I crack out the face glitter for extra sparkle watts. My go-to pre-race meal is my mom’s chocolate chip pancakes. I’d describe my racing style as calm, consistent, and resilient. Racing has taught me to be patient and that good things will come.

I’m always down for an adventure. It could be a random gravel bike century with my friends or hopping in the back of a pickup with my brother to ski laps at Colorado’s Loveland Pass. I love racing my bike—the adrenaline it brings, the people I’ve met, and the friends I’ve made. My family has always been into bike racing.
I would do a couple of races here and there, but I never actually trained. That changed in middle school when I didn’t want to do track in the spring, so I joined our local team, Norte. It was a super fun group of kids to ride with, and it really made me fall in love with the sport. I love the varying terrain, the challenge, the fresh air, and the social aspect of mountain biking. I’m competitive and like to do well in races.
One of my proudest moments was a second-place finish at Gravel Nationals. It was a close finish, but I was still stoked to get second after a very grueling 75 miles. My favorite event is the Iceman Cometh bike race. It’s a local race that includes 30 miles of single track through the woods in November. The weather is always unpredictable, and the crowd is insane, which makes it something to look forward to every year.
I’m inspired by the thrill that I get from racing—there’s no better feeling than all of your hard work paying off. In the winters, I’m a downhill ski racer. My favorite quote is “That which does not kill us makes us stronger.” — Friedrich Nietzsche. My goal for the upcoming season is to win a national title. Before races, I put my headphones in and get into the right mindset for racing. My go-to pre-race meal is buttered noodles. I’d describe my racing style as competitive, thrilling, and dynamic. Racing has taught me that I can do really hard things and come out on the other side.

I’m an avid cyclist who absolutely loves competition. I thrive on effective training programs and enjoy sharing my passion for biking with fellow riders, coaches, spectators, and friends. I’m in 11th grade and enjoy school. My hobbies include playing piano, drawing, skiing, mountaineering, ice climbing, and canyoneering—but above all, mountain biking is my life! I’ve always loved the freedom and competition I find while on my bike, but it wasn’t until middle school, when my dad suggested I check out the Estes Park Mountain Bike Team, that I fully realized I wanted cycling to be the main activity in my life. By the second practice session with my coach, Dana, I was hooked, and I’ve never looked back. I’m so lucky I get to compete in the Colorado High School League and USAC, and I look forward to when I can race UCI!
The thing I love most about cycling is the camaraderie of competition—it’s so exciting and fun to compete with and cheer on my fellow racers. I love getting motivated by others’ accomplishments and setting goals for myself. Biking brings me so much joy! I love cycling so much that it doesn’t take much to motivate me to train and compete. I get so excited when I have a good training session or when I do well in a race. Like most athletes, I’m always chasing “the zone”—seeking that feeling of invincibility and euphoria that comes when I’m performing at my best.
I have so many long-term goals for my cycling, but my proudest accomplishment so far is beating my own record for fastest time on Utah’s White Rim Trail in the Female “Under 19” category. In 2024, I set the record at 9:07, but then I returned in 2025 to set a new record at 7:55:36. Getting it under 8 hours at the age of 16 was a great achievement for me! I really love the Colorado High School State Championships in Glenwood Springs—it’s my favorite cycling event because of the supportive and enthusiastic community of racers, coaches, officials, and spectators. Everybody gets so psyched up and cheers for all the competitors, no matter what team they’re on or how they perform. It’s an event full of energy, excitement, and goodwill.
I’m inspired by other female cyclists who have made a name for themselves, like Kate Courtney and Sammie Maxwell. Both of these women show what it means to be strong, have good sportsmanship, and stay motivated. Hopefully, someday I’ll be competing alongside these amazing women! Most people don’t know that I used to love rock and ice climbing. I climbed all the numbered Flatirons in Boulder, Colorado, before I was eight years old. Before cycling became my passion, I climbed 33 of Colorado’s 58 fourteeners, and I’m most likely the youngest girl to have climbed Longs Peak (the historical record is unclear, but that’s a longer story…).
I’m a very determined person, and I like the mantra “Determination is the key to every challenge,” because I believe if I set my goals and work hard enough, I can achieve anything I put my mind to. One of my main goals is to compete in and win the Marathon discipline at Nationals in Virginia in 2026. I have a collection of tiny plastic ducks—five yellow, four orange, three blue, and one purple. Every morning before a race, I pull one duck out of the jar and hide it somewhere without looking. When I finish the race, I look at the duck’s color. I have yet to pull out the purple duck—maybe next year at Nationals! My favorite pre-race meal is pancakes with Nutella; it always puts me in the right mindset. I’d describe my racing style as propelled by motivation and determination. The biggest lesson racing has taught me about life is that life is a challenge, so embrace it.

Hi! My name is Besch and I’m from Arkansas. I’ve been riding bikes my whole life, but I didn’t begin racing until I was about 9 years old. I started with local road races, and by the time I was 12, I had made the switch to mountain biking. My first big race was the Oz Trails US Pro Cup in 2021—and after that, I never looked back. My parents taught me and my four siblings how to ride when we were little. As we got older, we’d go on group rides and train together. While my two older sisters eventually moved on from the sport, the rest of us began training seriously and continued racing alongside each other. Being able to share the sport with my siblings as I was growing up played a huge role in shaping my love for riding, and I’ve continued to pursue that passion ever since.
What I love most about mountain biking is that no trail is ever the same. There’s never a dull moment because each trail has its own terrain and challenges that keep me engaged and constantly learning. The idea of getting stronger and faster motivates me the most. I love feeling improvements—whether it’s on climbs, descents, or in my work ethic. Racing lets me put my training to the test and see where I can push myself further. One of my proudest race moments was finishing a long endurance race when my legs were cramping really badly, and I didn’t think I could finish.
My favorite trail is the Back 40 trail system. It has the perfect mix of flow, tech, climbs, and descents—basically every feature you could think of—plus beautiful scenery all around it. I’m inspired by progress, not just my own, but others’ as well. Watching people I race with put in the work and achieve great things constantly reminds me of what’s possible. A fun fact about me is that I can recite the first 100 digits of Pi. My favorite quote is “It’s okay to be uncomfortable.” I haven’t found a pre-race ritual yet, but my go-to fuel is pickles and pickle juice. I’d describe my racing style as determined, steady, and strategic. Racing has taught me that both on and off the bike, I can push through hard moments and come out stronger on the other side.

I’m from Carbondale Colorado and I first started racing the summer before my freshman year of high school through my local race series. My love for the sport only grew from there. I then began racing in high school and eventually in more competitive races throughout the summer. When I’m not biking I love skiing, climbing, and spending time in the mountains.
What I love most about mountain biking is the places it takes me and the people I meet along the way. My proudest race moment was getting third place at marathon national championships in 2025. Some of my favorite riding is in British Columbia, especially in Squamish and Whistler. I am inspired by the climber Lynn Hill who reminds me that anything is possible if you work hard and believe.
A fun fact about me is I love playing music - especially playing guitar and singing with friends around the campfire. One of my favorite quotes is, “It’s not always easy to enjoy the process and to trust it when things aren’t going the way you’d hoped, but pushing through those days is just as important to your success as enjoying the days where everything clicks”. - Kate Courtney.
My goal for the upcoming season to to continue progressing in the sport, enjoy the process, and see what I’m capable of. Every race for good luck I always where my black socks with a mountain on the back. My go-to pre-race meal is avocado toast and eggs. I describe my racing shoe as resilient, composed, and dynamic. Racing has taught me that there will be good days and bad but you have to focus on the process rather than the outcome.

I started racing as a 7th grader in NICA and began to love it more and more each year. I like to spend my time doing anything outside—skiing, climbing, and riding my bike. I love pushing myself to my limits and seeing personal growth both on and off the bike. I first got into biking when I was very young and my dad would push me around on all the trails. When I got older, I joined my local NICA team and have been racing ever since. I love the people I get to meet, the places I get to go, and how racing lets me push myself to my limits. I train and compete so I have no regrets at the start line and because I want to compete at the highest level possible.
My proudest moment so far was winning my UCI race in SOHO as a first-year 17–18 rider. My favorite trail is Paradise Rim in St. George, Utah, because it has lots of tech and you can lap it all day long. I get inspiration from the movie *Soul Surfer*—I watch it almost every night before a race. A fun fact about me is that I’m half Slovenian; my mom is from Slovenia. My favorite quote is “God is within her; she will not fall.” My goal for this season is to keep finding progression throughout the year.
Before every race, I always wear my lightning bolt earrings—I’ve been doing that for every race since I was 11. My go-to pre-race meal is a peanut butter and honey sandwich. I’d describe my racing style as patient, calm, and smooth. Racing has taught me that everything happens for a reason.

I’ve been riding a bike since I could walk. I love to eat ice cream and watch UCI Downhill World Cups. I travel full-time with my parents and my dog, Luna, training and racing. I started riding when I was 18 months old and it just went from there.
I love flying through trees, hitting rock gardens super fast, and getting steez on jumps. What motivates me is the thrill of competing and beating people. My proudest moment was not racing for a year, then training hard and getting 13th at Vail Lake.
My favorite trail is Rutabaga, a fun downhill-only trail in Colorado. I’m second on the KOM and ride it way too much. Christopher Blevins inspires me. A fun fact about me is that I had to get a bar put in my chest because it was growing in. My favorite quote is “Race hard, train harder.” My goal is to get top 25 in a UCI race. I don’t really have a pre-race ritual, but my go-to fuel is pasta. I’d describe my racing style as smart tactics, having fun, and style points. Racing has taught me that sometimes you fail, but you get back up and keep trying.

I’ve been biking since I was about two years old and have loved it ever since. I’m primarily a mountain bike racer, but I like to mix things up with cyclocross and gravel races here and there. I train year-round and consider myself a very consistent and dedicated athlete. I first got into cycling because my dad was a cyclist, and I grew up attending and supporting him at his races. I was on the bike by the time I could walk and have loved it ever since. I played soccer through my youth but gave it up at the end of elementary school when I realized I could pursue cycling and racing as a full-time sport.
What I love most about mountain biking is that not only am I developing life skills, but I’ve also made amazing friends and connections that have helped me grow both on and off the bike. Biking has helped me make quick decisions, think on my feet, and adapt to uncomfortable situations I never expected to be in. Even when I fail, I always learn something positive. My coaches, friends, teammates, and parents constantly motivate me to keep improving. I have many moments that I’m proud of—each year, I keep improving and doing better and better. All I can ask for is that I keep moving forward with energy and momentum to continue doing my best.
My favorite race is the US Pro Cup in Temecula, California, because it’s a great course that suits my racing style. I love the short punchy climbs and the fun descents. One of the things that always inspires me most is when my mom cheers for me at my races—it always gives me an extra boost. A fun fact about me is that I’m obsessed with Hot Wheels, and I even have a Lightning McQueen sticker on all my bikes. My favorite quote is “Strong like bull!” One of my biggest goals for this upcoming season is to earn UCI points. My go-to pre-race meal is rice, eggs, and avocado. I’d describe my racing style as smart, tactical, wild, and fun. Racing has taught me to never give up and to use my legs for something good!

I’ve only been riding a few years, but it’s been a very quick development. Starting with NICA races as a freshman in high school, I quickly found that I loved training and competing. In the two years that followed, I began coaching myself and eventually joined a local development team. With some local success, I joined Donovan Racing and raced my first ever national schedule this year. I’m looking to capitalize on the learning experiences I had last year with a strong 17/18 season. I first started riding four years ago when a friend of mine encouraged me to try NICA.
What makes me love being on the mountain bike is getting out in nature with my friends. Being able to disconnect from our day-to-day lives and be one with the bike and terrain is magical to me. I’m motivated to train to prove to myself that I can do what I set my mind to. Training and competing motivate me to take accountability for my goals and understand that success doesn’t happen by accident.
My proudest moment would probably be winning the Idaho State Championship on the mountain bike this year or getting my first UCI Top Ten in Soldier Hollow. My favorite trail is called Bumpies in Boise. It’s an old motorcycle trail diving off the backside of the ridge through a thick Ponderosa Pine forest, and its fast and rowdy sections combined with the scenery are top notch. I’m inspired to leave it all out there. When it’s said and done, I want to be able to say that I gave it my all. I’m lucky to have the opportunity to race and ride with this team, and I’m inspired to give it 100% because it’s rare and this opportunity is fleeting.
In addition to cycling, I also enjoy wake surfing, skiing, and camping or backpacking. My favorite quote is, “Because in the end, you won’t remember the time you spent working in the office or mowing your lawn. Climb that goddamn mountain.” — Jack Kerouac. My goal for 2026 is to substantially develop as a rider and racer through deliberate training and to capitalize on that development in a racing environment.
Before every race, I think of three things to repeat to myself during the race—usually one or two positive affirmations and a skill to focus on. My go-to pre-race fuel is an everything bagel with peanut butter. I’d describe my racing style as scrappy, relentless, smart, and snappy. Racing has taught me that what matters is being proud of yourself for your personal improvement, not necessarily the results. At the end of the day, it’s the growth, progress, and journey we have that makes things worth doing.

I’m a mountain bike and gravel racer from Minnesota. Training year-round through all conditions, I’m known for my drive, consistency, and grit. I enjoy structured training and am passionate about continuous improvement and helping others grow within the sport.
Off the bike, I enjoy spending time outdoors, staying active as a student, and hanging out with friends and family. I love going fast, being outdoors, and the sense of freedom I get when I ride. A friend introduced me to mountain biking, and I joined my school team in 7th grade. My dad’s love for the sport and watching the Tour de France every year definitely inspired me to give it a try. Once I hit my first trail, I was hooked. I enjoy going all out and seeing what I’m capable of. What I love about XC is that it combines the best parts of every discipline—endurance, technical skill, sprinting, and strategy. Every course challenges something different, and that keeps it exciting. I’m driven by progress, beating my best self, and competing to be among the best wherever I go.
One of my proudest moments was going from starting in the back row of my first XCC race to finishing 8th at Soldier Hollow, 21st at Nationals, and earning UCI points in my first season. My favorite event is Fayetteville—it was my first UCI race. Everything felt big and exciting, and I was hyped to race there. I’m inspired by watching professionals beat the odds, like Paul Seixas, Jonas Abrahamsen, and Mathieu van der Poel.
A fun fact about me is that I’m a pro at jump-scaring people. My favorite quote is “If you don’t want to run, you go run. If you don’t want to swim, you go swim.” — David Goggins. Basically, do what you don’t want to do because it’s what makes you better. My goals are to achieve more UCI points, be in or near the front group, and meet a bunch of new people along the way. Before races, I have caffeine, turn on a banger playlist, and do activations with weighted bands. My go-to pre-race meal is eggs and rice with a bottle of electrolytes. I’d describe my racing style as punchy, gritty, explosive, and precise pacing. Racing has taught me that you never know until you give it a try.

I’ve always loved sports. I grew up playing football, baseball, and biking as my main sports, but I tried plenty of others too. Out of everything, I love racing my bike the most because of the risk and the thrill of going fast along the trail. I got into racing because my family and friends told me I should compete, so my dad signed me up for MCA/NICA.
What I love most about mountain biking is racing and riding with friends. I’m motivated to train and compete by the goals I set for myself and the drive to accomplish them. My biggest accomplishment so far was racing at 2025 Nationals—my first-ever nationals. I don’t have a single favorite trail, but I love the whole Bentonville trail system because it has everything and it’s just a fun place to be, even off the bike. My goals inspire me to keep working hard and trying to accomplish them.
A fun fact about me is that my max squat is 500 pounds. My favorite quote is “Trust the process.” My goal is to place top 20 at Nationals with it being my first year in 17–18. Before every race, I pray. My go-to pre-race meal is oatmeal. I’d describe my racing style as steez. Racing has taught me to work hard at everything you do and to always try your best.

This is my 3rd year racing MTB and CX at a competitive level, and I have 6 state titles in Missouri. I got the opportunity to race Varsity as an 8th grader in my MTB league, and I’m a high school student graduating in the class of ’29.
I was first introduced to bikes when I was 9 months old, just after coming home from China. I got my first bike when I was 4 years old and rode around my neighborhood working on getting my training wheels off. I still remember how scared I was to ride my bike. In 2021, I decided to take cycling more seriously. I started training a few days a month until 2022, when I raced my first race, Spring Fling, in March. A month or two before that, I had trained through the entire January and logged 200 miles that month. I didn’t start riding mountain bikes and working on skills until 2023, which was my inaugural year racing on the national stage.
I love racing bikes because there’s always a story you can tell to friends and family. I also love getting muddy when it rains the night before a race. What motivates me most is remembering where I started and my future potential in this sport. One of my proudest moments was at the US Pro Cup in 2025. I felt super strong during the race—even after team camp that year and getting sick—and finished with a P5 after a sprint finish when 6th place passed me in the last 250 meters. I love the US Pro Cup in Fayetteville because the course has fun jumps and is super flowy. Plus, that race was my inaugural national race.
Riley Gaines inspires me because her story reminds me to keep working even when you get silenced. A fun fact about me is that I came from China when I was 9 months old. My favorite quote is from Joshua 1:9 in the Bible: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
My goals are to place top 10 at all my races and earn a national championship title. My pre-race ritual includes wearing my purple WWJD bracelet and using my Normatec legs while watching *The Rookie*. My go-to pre-race meal is ramen noodles and a Maurten gel. I’d describe my racing style as fast, flowy, smooth, and having fun. Racing has taught me that you don’t always win at everything—there’s always a challenge.

My happy place is on my bike! I am a 3x National Champion with big dreams and goals when it comes to biking, and I feel very lucky to be part of the Donovan Family.
I first got into racing after seeing my cousin race and instantly loved it. What I love most about this sport are the friendships I’ve made along the way. I like to see my training pay off when I get good results, and I want to be one of the fastest girls out there.
Some of my proudest accomplishments are being a national champion and winning Unbound and Chequamegon. I really love time trials! I’ve always looked up to Kate Courtney—she’s been a huge inspiration to me. Outside of biking, I’m a downhill ski racer, and I also love to hunt and fish. My favorite quote is “Trust the process.”
My goal is to continue racing at a high level. Before races, I like to listen to good music, and my go-to pre-race meal is pancakes. I’d describe my racing style as trying for the win. Racing has taught me that nothing comes easy—you have to work hard to get good results.

I’m a 15–16 athlete from Boise, Idaho and this is my first year on the team. I’m looking forward to the national scene again this upcoming 2026 year. I like to ride bikes fast and have fun when doing it.
I got into cycling about two years ago when I was 12. I love the thrill of racing and seeing my hard work pay off. What motivates me is to improve myself and see my personal growth. My proudest moment so far is winning both races at Solider Hollow. Missoula is my favorite race because of the vibes and the great descents. I’m inspired by looking at all the pros and seeing what they can do and knowing that if I work hard enough that could be me someday.
Fun Fact - I’m vegan. My favorite quote is “Pain is weakness leaving the body, you are not weak, so you do not feel pain.” My goal is to get my bearings in the 15–16 category and push myself further than I ever have. I sadly don’t have a pre-race ritual yet. My go-to fuel is a bagel with snow peanut butter. I’d describe my racing style as fast, fun, hard, steezy, and crazy. Racing has taught me that things can get difficult, but if you keep pushing it will pay off.

I’m a second-year 15–16 racer coming back to Donovan after a little break. I used to say “I’m a climber,” but now I’ve adopted the mindset that I’m a bike racer—no matter what, I’m going to give my best. Even if climbing may be my strength, it doesn’t define me as a racer. This year, I’m focused on mentally growing and becoming a better racer overall. I’m not chasing a specific result; instead, I’m chasing the growth that each season brings. I got into cycling right after I moved to Colorado, and it wasn’t long until I was racing. I was instantly hooked. I’ve been racing since my 9–10 years and am now a second-year 15–16.
What I love most about racing is how many people you meet—connections mean everything. My motivation comes from my love for the sport itself. One of my proudest moments was moving up 40 spots at Missoula after starting almost dead last. My favorite event is Cross of the North in Colorado because I have so many great memories from races there and the people I’ve met along the way—and I’ve also had some good results there.
My biggest inspiration is my mom. A fun fact about me is that I’m pretty talkative. My favorite saying is “I belong here.” Before races, I like to listen to the same song on repeat if I listen to any music at all. My go-to race morning meal is oatmeal. I’d describe my racing style as smooth, calm, and smart. Racing has taught me that sometimes things don’t go your way—and you have to adapt to it.

I’m a mountain biker and cyclocross racer from Columbus, Ohio, and I’m new to the team this year. I enjoy being on the bike and always try to have fun with whatever I’m doing, from finding hidden jumps to making challenges with friends. I’m looking forward to the upcoming season and am optimistic for what it will bring.
When I was really young, my dad would bring me to bike races. As I progressed, I started racing and soon found I had a talent. Since then, I’ve only been improving. I love the atmosphere that surrounds racing and I love being at races. I’m motivated to train and compete by my dream of becoming a world champion in MTB and cyclocross. My biggest accomplishment so far was placing second at the 2025 XCC national championships. My favorite event is the US Pro Cup in Fayetteville, Arkansas because it’s a huge event where I meet tons of new people.
Nino Schurter inspires me because I admire how dedicated he is and how much he’s impacted the sport. I like to collect hats from races I go to. My favorite quote is “It never gets easier, you just go faster” by Greg LeMond.
My goal is to podium at the 2026 MTB and Cyclocross national championships. Before every race, I like to drink tea. My go-to fuel is rice bars. I’d describe my racing style as consistent, steady, and powerful. Racing has taught me that you don’t always win, and have to adjust your plans sometimes.

I’m a first year U23 gravel and mountain bike racer from Santa Fe, New Mexico. This will be my 3rd year. I like all forms of racing from the short, explosive efforts to the the technical mountain bike races but something is special about the test of endurance in a long, hard gravel race that particularly appeals to me. In 2025, I finished 7th at Junior Gravel Nationals and earned a podium at SBT GRVL and the Whiskey 50.
Off the bike, I’m passionate about the outdoors, I have my wilderness first aid certification, and plan to study exercise physiology in college.
My goal is to race as a pro in the Lifetime Grand Prix and keep growing as part of the next generation of American gravel racers. I got into cycling and racing because I found it incredibly fun and freeing to be able to rip fast single-track in amazing places. After I did my first race I was instantly hooked and I have found even more love for the sport throughout the past 5 years. I love the variety every course and every race feels different. Gravel especially combines the speed of road racing with the technical side of mountain biking, and I love how it pushes both fitness and focus for hours at a time.
I’m motivated by seeing progress and pushing my limits. I love the feeling of knowing I gave everything, whether that’s in training or at the finish line of a race. 7th at 2025 Gravel Nationals. I really love the Colorado Highschool MTB league races because they incorporate community, fun, and discipline which I believe are important to the sport.
My mom inspires me most. She’s shown me what resilience looks like and has always supported me through every high and low. I’ve played violin for nine years and piano for four. Music was my whole world before I discovered cycling. My highschool mountain bike coach taught me 3 things to follow and live by in order to stay focused in my sport and in life in general. He taught me to always have community, discipline, and fun.
A goal I have had for a few years now is to win the Unbound 100 overall title. I also want to qualify for the U23 Lifetime Grand Prix, and keep improving and staying consistent. I remind myself to stay in the moment. Pasta the night before and oatmeal the morning of. Calculated, patient, and relentless. Racing has taught me how important consistency is. If you are consistently showing up for yourself and your goals you will see huge amount of progress.

I’m a junior gravel and mountain bike racer from Columbia, Missouri. I began my cycling journey as a mountain bike racer but started testing the waters with gravel racing about two years ago. Since then, I’ve enjoyed racing all over the U.S. This is my first year on the Donovan Gravel Team, and I’m super excited to be part of this new community that will help me reach my goals on and off the bike. Off the bike, I’m a super committed student, and when it’s time to look at colleges, I hope to move somewhere where cycling can remain an important part of my life. I also play the cello—music has played an important role in my life both before and after discovering cycling. Another pastime of mine is working as a bike mechanic at my local shop, where I enjoy the peace and quiet of tinkering on a machine.
I was introduced to biking competitively by a friend. I joined my local NICA league, and my racing just kept evolving to a higher and higher level. I love the intense, high-power nature of mountain biking, and I love gravel racing because it combines high-speed sections with brutal, low-speed, handling-heavy challenges. What motivates me most is not wanting to get dropped. It reminds me that I could always be working harder, so whenever I’m training, I think about the purpose of each workout and how it could be the difference between holding a wheel and getting dropped. One of my proudest moments was getting a win at Pro Cup. My favorite event is BT Epic—the pouring rain was a nice touch this year. The endurance aspect makes it such a challenge to manage effort, and I actually really like that part. I’m inspired by my previous teammates, especially those who accomplished big things while maintaining a good life balance.
A fun fact about me is that I love to fly fish. My favorite quote is, “The definition of insane is doing the same thing and expecting a different result.” It’s super inspiring and keeps me going during the sufferfest rides. My goals this season are to get stronger, maybe even get some results, and have fun while experiencing the dynamic of a new team. Before races, I’ve noticed that if I have hair sticking out from my helmet, I frequently do better than if I don’t—I have no idea why. My go-to pre-race fuel is Keytone IQ. I’d describe my racing style as all out. Racing has taught me that sometimes your best does not cut it.

I love exploring the wilderness and meeting awesome people through this sport. What motivates me most is seeing the improvements in myself and in my race results. One of my proudest moments so far was earning a podium at Unbound. My favorite event is Sea Otter because the vibes all week are incredible.
I’m inspired by watching Americans do well in the World Tour, especially fellow Coloradans. A fun fact about me is that I can type over 120 words per minute. My favorite quote is “The rockiest roads lead to the prettiest views.” My goal is to complete Unbound 200. Before races, I always put on my aero gloves as part of my routine. My go-to pre-race fuel is Rice Krispies. I’d describe my racing style as steady ’till I’m ready. Racing has taught me that doing hard things is usually worth the work.

I’ve spent most of my career in the food service industry, namely Frito Lay and Nestlé. I had a unique opportunity to start a coaching company in 2019 when I relocated to Colorado as my own racing career was slowing down. That led to the creation of Donovan Racing Development in 2023 to support the athletes I was coaching. In 2025, we rebranded to Donovan Racing — and the team has since grown into a national powerhouse with athletes racing across North America, Europe, and South America.
I take a tremendous amount of pride and satisfaction in seeing my athletes reach not only their athletic goals but also their personal goals. I truly believe in a whole-athlete approach — mental wellbeing first, followed by results on the bike. It’s all part of a healthy process. I take immense pride in this team, especially since my name is all over it!
On the home front, I’m blessed with an amazing and supportive wife, Terra, four incredible kids — Emily, Sean, Frankie, and Charlie — and three wonderful grandchildren: Maeve, Indy, and Mitch.

I’m a passionate cyclist who loves both mountain biking and cyclocross. I compete in events across Colorado and at national races when traveling with my son, Oliver. I’ve been involved with Donovan Racing since its inception and am deeply committed to helping the team become one of the leading cycling programs in the country.
Professionally, I’ve worked in the investment management, pharmacy benefit management, outsourcing, and consulting industries. I’ve enjoyed using my background in business development and project management to help companies succeed — and now I get to bring that same experience to Donovan Racing.
My son Oliver was coached by Rob and joined the first iteration of Donovan Racing. When he joined, I wanted to contribute my own expertise to help Rob and the team achieve their goals and long-term vision. What resonates most with me is helping youth and U23 athletes achieve their cycling aspirations and goals.
On the board, I help wherever I’m needed — from reviewing athlete applications to offering the perspective of a parent who has an athlete on the team.
